This plant will need hand pollinating. Here's how to do that:

Click & Grow Smart Soil does all the work for you:

Inspired by NASA technology, Smart Soil creates the perfect environment for your plants to thrive.

The Smart Soil keeps water distributed evenly inside the nanostructure, so the plant roots have access to water at all times.

It makes sure plants have perfect pH-level and get the optimal configuration of water, oxygen, and nutrients.

The growth medium is made of natural, renewable materials, and contains no pesticides, fungicides, hormones or other harmful substances.

Sprouting guarantee: If your plant doesn't sprout, we'll replace it. Pods are good for up to two years.  Store them in a dry, cool place until you are ready to plant.

    Capsicum annuum

PLEASE NOTE! Only the fruits of the red pepper plant is edible, the rest of the plant is POISONOUS and should NOT BE CONSUMED!

    Sprouts in: 7 - 14 days

    Harvest in: 14 - 21 weeks

    Grows best at: 68°F – 95°F

    • You can speed up the germination process by raising the temperature to at least 79°F (26°C).
    • If multiple seeds germinate in a pod, leave one seedling to grow in the pod so that the plant has enough space and nutrients.
    • Do not cut or prune your plant before fruiting - it will form flowers and fruits at the top of the plant.
    • Once your plant is flowering, it needs to be pollinated by hand. Do this by gently shaking your plant to carry pollen from one blossom to the next.
    • Red sweet peppers need some time to ripen, they usually do so within 100 to 120 days from having been planted. Caring for the plant during this time consists of cleaning the plant from wilted leaves and dead flowers.
    • Please note! Only the fruits of the pepper are edible, the rest of the plant is poisonous and should not be consumed.
