- There is no limit to the number of seedlings per pod for basil. Just let it thrive!
- It takes just one lamp arm to grow Holy Basil. If the stems are about to touch the lamp, just cut them back.
- Holy Basil likes being cut so it can produce more yield! You can start trimming your plants approximately one month after planting. You may remove single leaves occasionally.
- Trimming your plant will also delay flowering and keeps the plant compact and low. Also, the pod will last longer.
- Please note that Holy Basil is an annual plant. It does not last forever. If it has been over twelve weeks and the plant looks aged, it is time to replace the pod.
- Holy Basil is great for drying and this way you can save it for later. It is good to have some dried leaves in storage so you can enjoy a nice cup of herbal tea any time.
