  • There is no limit to the number of seedlings per pod for basil. Just let it thrive!
  • It takes just one lamp arm to grow all kinds of basil. If the stems are about to touch the lamp, just cut them back.
  • Basil likes to be cut! You may remove single leaves occasionally... But, for more thriving growth, pinching off the whole tip is recommended - it will grow two new shoots in a week.
  • Cutting back your basil stems occasionally will prevent the plant from flowering and developing a bitter flavor. But, if you do want to see your basil in flower, stop cutting your plant and let it thrive!
  • Please note that basil is an annual plant. If it has been growing for almost twelve weeks- it is time to replace it.
  • Have some extra Cinnamon Basil leaves? No worries, basil is great for drying and this way you can save it for later.
